1. What you publish
By publishing an Insho, you represent that you have the right to use all content in it — including images, text, audio, and any other material — and that your use does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other applicable laws.
2. Acceptable sources
Content on Insho must be created by the publisher, used with permission, or drawn from a lawful source such as the public domain, an open-access museum or archive collection, or a license that permits the intended use. When a license requires attribution, you must provide it accurately and completely.
3. Fair use and commentary
Limited use of third-party material for commentary, criticism, or transformation may be permitted under applicable law, but this is evaluated case by case. It is not a general exemption for decorative or illustrative use. If you rely on fair use or a similar doctrine, you should include a clear explanation in the Credits or Sources field.
4. Music policy
Music used on Insho must be in the public domain or a short quotation used for commentary. Full commercial recordings, streaming-service tracks, film scores, and unlicensed background music are not allowed.
5. AI-generated content
AI-generated or AI-assisted content is permitted if it is disclosed in the AI assistance field. Publishers remain responsible for ensuring that AI output does not infringe third-party rights or mislead readers about its origin.
6. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on Insho infringes your copyright or other rights, please contact us with a description of the work, the Insho URL, and the basis of your claim. We review reports promptly and may remove or restrict access to content while a claim is investigated.
7. Enforcement
Insho may remove or disable content, suspend publishing privileges, or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate this policy or applicable law. We reserve the right to update this policy as the platform and legal standards evolve.
