Insho
Insho takes its name from the Japanese word inshō, meaning “impression.” Each Insho is a short visual impression: an idea considered, a collection assembled, a story told or an original work shared.
Everything on Insho is meant to be experienced in about two minutes. Three to twelve slides, either Still — moved through at the reader’s own pace — or Timed by the person who made them. No autoplaying sound. No engagement metrics. No infinite feed.
Insho is for curious and creative people — designers, writers, photographers, musicians, cinephiles, students, researchers, collectors, archivists, historians, scientists and enthusiasts in any niche field. It is meant to feel like an independent arts journal you keep on the shelf.
